Getting Started
Step 1:
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation begins with an in-person meeting with the individual to discuss goals and the specific activities to target for improvement. The behavioral coach will then observe and evaluate the individual's current level of performance.
Step 2:
Designing an Individualized Training Plan
Based on the individual's goals and existing skill levels, the behavioral coach will design a comprehensive, individualized training plan that focuses on skill specific proficiencies and deficits. Increased performance is accomplished by utilizing evidence based approaches and various behavioral interventions. A detailed analysis is employed to formulate a step-by-step training plan including some of the following methods:
- Feedback Implementations
- Acoustical Feedback
- Descriptive Feedback
- Goal Setting
- Behavioral Skills Training (BST)
- Video Modeling
- Visual Cues
- Behavioral Reinforcement
Step 3:
Program Implementation
The behavioral coach will meet with the individual on a weekly basis to assess skill performance gains and provide training and feedback on levels of goal achievement.
